Glasgow Model + Make-Up Photography

No it's not a selfie, it's a rare photograph of me, thanks to photography student Claudia Matthews who took time from her studying at Cumbria University to spend some time on a work placement with me, naturally she brought her camera to capture the afternoon's shoot.

The shoot itself was for another student - Freyja Hamilton who commissioned me to take photographs of model Rhea who she had made up for her Graded Unit exam.

This session was brilliant, Claudia, Freyja and Rhea were great fun to work with and we enjoyed a Friday afternoon capturing different images around the West End of Glasgow. If you would like to find out more about my photography please check out my website and do get in touch.

Take Better Photographs: A Walk In The Park

I’ve run a number of photography training courses throughout Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and for summer 2014 I am offering what I believe to be the most enjoyable and productive opportunity to learn how to take control of your DSLR camera to take a series of beautiful photographs.

For £60 I will provide one to one tuition, during a two-hour walk through Loch Lomond. During the walk I will guide you to some of the best photographic locations and teach you how to take your DSLR Camera off of its automatic settings and to take control to take better photographs.

I am based in Drymen in Loch Lomond and can suggest many different walks, catering for the kind of pictures that you will want to take. The times and days of the courses can be tailored to be suitable for you and we can even make good use of the ‘magic hour’ the last hour of daylight where you can get some stunning images and sunsets.

So for one to one tuition the price is £60, for two people it’s £100, for three it’s £120, for four it’s £135 and for five it’s just £150. Please get in touch to check availability on 01360 661029.

Wedding Venues in Scotland

The sequence is usually the same. The couple chooses a wedding venue, picking a date that is available and suitable for them before moving on to choose their photographer. That all makes sense and it means that when I get enquiries for dates I can immediately check my availability.

In this whole cycle I often get feedback that choosing a venue is not as easy as it first seems and by the time they get in touch with me the couple are usually exhausted from endless venue hunting. So why can it be so difficult? There are hundreds, if not thousands of wedding venue locations in Scotland. Maybe that's part of the problem, the choice is overwhelming and you have to find the right one to fit your size of wedding.

A number of couples have said that they’d wish they’d got in touch with me first and asked my advice on venues. Why me? Well as well as being a Professional Wedding Photographer I spend a lot of time working on photography projects with tourism providers throughout Scotland, particularly in Loch Lomond where I am based. I’ve got a number of hotels and venues that I would thoroughly recommend, ones where I personally know the owners and am impressed with their quality of service.

So whether it’s small or large, second time around, quirky, themed or an unusual wedding please feel free to get in touch and I will offer you some advice of venues that may well fit well with your dreams. You can call me on 01360 661029.

Loch Lomond Photography

I have now built a considerable library of landscape images from every part of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. My pictures cover all seasons and many different views of the stunning scenery.

By popular request I have licensed images for use on the websites of a number of accommodation providers within the park. If you would be interested in using any number of images please let me know.

For 2014 I am also offering tourism businesses the chance to purchase frames and canvases of their favourite images, which they can display on the walls of their rooms and public areas. This also gives them the option to make them available for purchase by their guests.

There are also images available for other parts of Scotland as well as  the opportunity to commission original images especially for your business. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more on 01360 661029. You can see a selection of the Paul Saunders Photography Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Picture Library below.
