No it's not a selfie, it's a rare photograph of me, thanks to photography student Claudia Matthews who took time from her studying at Cumbria University to spend some time on a work placement with me, naturally she brought her camera to capture the afternoon's shoot.
The shoot itself was for another student - Freyja Hamilton who commissioned me to take photographs of model Rhea who she had made up for her Graded Unit exam.
This session was brilliant, Claudia, Freyja and Rhea were great fun to work with and we enjoyed a Friday afternoon capturing different images around the West End of Glasgow. If you would like to find out more about my photography please check out my website and do get in touch.
The days are getting longer and the nights shorter. Hopefully we'll be seeing the first signs of spring very soon. Good timing then to be all ready for another season of Family Photography in Scotland.
Please have a look at the slideshow above. It's packed with examples from recent Family Photography Sessions taken in places including Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Ayrshire, Stirling, Dunblane and Bridge of Allan. The slideshow is a good way of keeping the memories and sharing them with family and friends via You Tube and Social Media. They can also be simply loaded onto an I-pad or other tablet device. Slideshows normally cost £45 but until 30th June 2013 they are on sale at just £30.
Also brand new for 2013 is a Family Photography Brochure, which had answers to the most asked questions. It will take you through the booking and tell you what to expect. Of course I am more than happy to respond to any questions you may have by phone or e-mail, but hopefully you will find this guide useful.
Radio presenter Romeo recently commissioned me to take his new PR profile shots. We wanted two different looks, first a modern building and then a street scene. The building is the inspirational Maggie's Centre in Glasgow and the street scene was a burnt out warehouse also in Glasgow.
