Eight Models

These are just some of the results from a recent photography session for top Glasgow make-up artist Joanna Madey (seen in action below) I was commissioned by Joanna to provide her with an updated portfolio to showcase her excellent work. Two designers provided a strong and varied selection of outfits for the eight wonderful models, who once made up, posed in various places across the city centre of Glasgow.

This is the first model - Sarah-Louise Polley with stunning vintage outfits from Amanda Blackwood. I love this vintage look. 

The next model is the beautiful Courtney Abbott, with once again a variety of outfits from Amanda Blackwood.

Here is Luci Angel with outfits from Amanda Blackwood. We walked around Glasgow City Centre and found lots of great urban backdrops to use.

The next model, with shots taken around The Merchant City in Glasgow, is Alexandra Prior. Outfits this time by Nicci.n.

The next model is Izzy Lovelei Pointthex with outfits by Amanda Blackwood. These pictures were taking in Activ Tailored Fitness just by Glasgow Queen Street Station.

Prince & Princesses

Whilst the bride quite rightly shines on her wedding day and takes the lead role, there is often strong competition for the best supporting role. The bridesmaids may look wonderful, the groom and his best man dressed in kilts will get lots of attention. However, it is often the little princes and princesses that compete for attention, and quite often they will absolutely love it!

Here is Prince Olly and Princess Hannah from two recent weddings. Olly was a star at Harriet and Alessandro’s wedding in July and Hannah from Anna and Richard’s wedding in August.

Vianello Wedding - July 2011

This wedding was enormous fun, with the ceremony in the gardens of Norton House Hotel in Edinburgh, on what must have been the hottest day of the year so far.

The bride, Harriet is from Edinburgh and the groom Alessandro is from Vancouver. The couple met while Alessandro was working in Edinburgh. They were destined to be with each other and when Alessandro returned to Canada he did so with Harriet, living together in the beautiful English Bay area of Vancouver.

English Bay is one of my favourite places in the world. In fact I was only just back from staying there before their wedding. At English Bay you get the most beautiful sunsets, attracting many people to the beach to sit and watch as the sun goes down. It was during one of those romantic sunsets that Alessandro proposed to Harriet.

Here is a selection of my images from their wedding day, it was a pleasure to meet and photograph this fun and very happy couple. I’ve added some pictures at the end from English Bay.
