The Papercut Artist

I am delighted to be providing Christine Thomson AKA "The Papercut Artist" with PR and Photography Services. Christine lives in Buchlyvie, a neighbouring village to Drymen, where I am based.

Christine has created maps of local villages that show the buildings and features cut out of paper. The result is amazing and I saw them I immediately offered to photograph them and to help spread the word.

The first village to feature was unsurprisingly her own and after selling out of that one she moved onto others including Drymen. The picture below shows Christine with the Drymen papercut, taken appropriately on the village green.

Moving on from the villages Christine is also providing a special paper-cut picture for The Commonwealth Games becoming an official merchandiser for Glasgow 2014. She has also made special Robert Burns and Charles Rennie Macintosh papercuts and has been commissioned by The National Trust to make one to celebrate the opening of their new Bannockburn Centre in 2014.

Christine's talent, ideas and enthusiasm is endless; I am looking forward to photographing and helping to promote her many paper-cut projects. For more information please get in touch and I will pass any enquiries onto Christine.
